Historically, women have been encouraged to stay hidden in a way that can actually be harmful.  There are components of the female experience that have been kept in the dark which forces us all to ignore the whole feminine identity.  Society’s celebration of the “good girl”persona means that so much of the amazing complexity of feminine characteristics are largely ignored.  

It is our pleasure to feature Jen Vera in our latest episode.  To call Jen unique is an understatement.  She is a guide, a shamanic priestess and someone with a very deep understanding of the possibilities that emerge once we recognize that what she calls the “dark feminine” is explored.

Jen is also a champion of full honesty when it comes to healthy expression of our emotions.  While many of us have been conditioned to hide strong emotions such as anger, Jen encourages us to sit with our rage in order to understand and, perhaps most importantly, not allow it to become a destructive presence in our lives.

We take a journey with Jen that sheds light on not only feminine energy but also opens the door to understanding healthy sexuality, the impact of cancel culture and the beautiful idea that we are all here to help take care of each other and  treat each other and ourselves as sacred beings who deserve respect.
